THE NEW FORUM RULES

Here are the forum rules. Every forum needs them. Or not.
(no particular order has been applied to these rules)

Rules
These rules we do expect you to follow.

1. Please refrain from mature (18+) content. We'd appreciate it if you kept things around PG-13.

2. Keep things in the appropriate forum. For example, don't post a forum RP in the Games forum, etc. While consequences for breaking this rule are not dire, we'd like for you to still follow it.

3. Be respectful of others. Harassment of any form will not be tolerated, so please play nice (inside jokes do not count unless deemed a form of harassment)

4. Do not cause drama. Because no one likes it and it just wastes time. So if you've got a problem, either settle it here and now or settle it elsewhere.

5. Do not double post. An "edit" button exists for you to use. We will accept the bumping of certain topics if it is really felt to be necessary, but otherwise, don't do it unless you have another good reason to.

6. Do not spam. If you ever feel the urge to, go straight ahead and march right into that spam forum to do it. The rest of the forum is no place for spam.

7. Please don't make new accounts after you get banned or suspended. I put my trust in you that you guys won't get banned in the first place anyway, though.

Tips
These are guidelines we and the rest of the community would appreciate you following, but are not required as official rules. Think of these as appropriate user etiquette.

1. If you can type properly, type properly. Please don't be a lazy kid and type in chatspeak, unless you have a legitimate reason (on your iPod/phone and it's hard to type, etc) or are just joking around. The usage of acronyms like "lol, rofl, brb" are not counted as chatspeak here.

2. No 1337 5P34K. It can be annoying to read for people on the forum.

3. If it's not your content, it's not yours. Take responsibility for what you post, please.

4. Watch your language. I'm pretty positive most of you guys are capable of doing so, so I am tolerant of whatever "cuss/swear" words you decide to use as long as you are not beginning to cross the line.

5. Cut down on the perviness. While we don't have any strict rules against hosting "perverted" discussions, we'd appreciate it if you guys can try to keep it down on the forum, as some people may not appreciate discussions of the dirty-minded sort.

6. Try to not stray onto touchy or controversial topics. This may include (but not limited to) religion, politics, etc. We will not punish you for discussing these topics, but if you do, please maintain self-control.

7. Refrain from overly simple posts. One-word posts and topics can be annoying, and sometimes spam.
